<p><strong>Regionals Team Recap</strong></p>
<p>WOD 1:</p>
<p>4 x 750 meter row</p>
<p>50 HSPU</p>
<p>4 x 750 meter row</p>
<p>4 person team for this one: me, Jenni, Jay and Brian. Team member 1 rows 750, then tags #2 for row and so on. Once finished we had to complete 50 HSPU between us in the order as we rowed. Once those were completed we had to repeat the 4 x 750 meter row. Our time was 26:40 and Brian, Jay and Jenni rocked the HSPU. This WOD was pretty terrible for me as these are 2 of me weaknesses (understatement), but there was no point in me doing the thruster WOD either. Le sigh. I can keep a good rowing pace for sprints, but once I get beyond 400 or 500 meters, I have a hard time pacing myself, go out too hard and then fall off the cliff. I also made the mistake of not practicing HSPU before the competition, which now looking back, would have been a wise choice. I&#8217;m not sure why I thought I could wing it and get a few because that didn&#8217;t happen. I chose poorly. Unfortunately our last team got his last 5 or 6 HSPU taken away which killed our time. They said his feet were coming off the wall at the end, but since it was the last rep he was coming off the wall. I&#8217;m not sure how you are supposed to come out of a handstand without taking your feet off the wall?</p>
<p>WOD 2 &#8211; Thruster Ladder</p>
<p>Women Weights (lbs):  105, 115, 125, 130, 135, 140, 145, 150, 155, 160, 165, 170, 175, 180, 185<br />
Men Weights (lbs): 155, 165, 175, 185, 195, 205, 215, 225, 235, 245, 255, 265, 275, 285, 295</p>
<p>We put Mollie and JKett on this one. Each person had 20 seconds to get a thruster, then move on to the next until they fail. We ended with 310 on this one. Great job to both Mollie and Jason!</p>
<p><strong>WOD 3<br />
</strong>21-15-9 reps x 2 for time of:<br />
Deadlift (275/185lbs)<br />
Box jump (30”/24”)</p>
<p>We put JKett and Jenni on this one, 16:16 was our time.</p>
<p><strong>WOD 4</strong></p>
<p>For time:<br />
250 Chest to bar pull-ups<br />
250 Kettlebell swings (24/16kg)<br />
250 Double-unders<br />
250 Overhead squats (95/65lbs)</p>
<p>Finally a WOD I can do! I can&#8217;t really string together more than 5 CTB pullups at a time, I got no repped on KB Swings a lot. Brian and I finished the DUs between us in 4 sets which was a bonus, but we only made it to 93 OHS. Overall that was a fun WOD.</p>
<p>Only the top 10 (or 14?) teams made it to WODs 5 and 6, which didn&#8217;t happen for us. Overall it was a good time!</p>

<p>I did all the sets of squats at 125. I have not been squatting much lately. 1RM for front squat is 155, but 125 felt heavy today.</p>
<p>Metcon 5+5rx&#8217;d. I had to redo 3 rounds of box jumps bc I tripped up.</p>

Post loads and times to comments.<br />
Hold the jerk over your head in a locked out position for 5 seconds before coming to the ground.</p>
<p>I only got up to 115 on the split jerk and failed at 120. Significantly less than my PR of 130 at the regular rack position, but I feel super uncomfortable doing this from behind the neck.</p>
